We have secured a block of rooms exclusively for event participants – available at a discounted rate until 1st July, on a first come, first served basis – so book early. Once you’ve booked your event ticket, we’ll send you the booking details to access the discounted group rates. Rates are available for both shared and private rooms for the duration of the conference and fest. Additional nights before and after the event are also available.

Best international flight connections, especially from Europe, North America, and beyond.
From here, you can travel by bus, train (via Sligo/Derry), or car rental.

Belfast International (BFS) / Belfast City Airport (BHD)
Closer to Donegal, often convenient from the UK.
⚠️ Note: You’ll need a valid UK visa or passport clearance to travel through Northern Ireland if you’re not from the Common Travel Area (UK/IE).

Donegal Airport (CFN)
Best for regional flights from Dublin or select UK cities.
Small and scenic – you’ll need to arrange a private transfer or taxi to Buncrana. DM us if you’d like help with this.

Shannon Airport (SNN)
- Well-connected to many US cities and transatlantic routes.
- Ideal if you’re combining your trip with a West of Ireland visit.
- You’ll need onward travel by bus or car rental to reach Donegal.

From Dublin Airport/City
Bus:
- Take Bus Éireann Expressway Route 32 to Letterkenny, book here!
- Then take Local Link Donegal from Letterkenny to Buncrana, book here!
Train:
- Dublin → Sligo (Irish Rail : irishrail.ie)
- Sligo → Derry → Letterkenny (by connecting bus), then on to Buncrana
Coach Services:
- McGinley Coach and Aircoach offer direct services to Donegal

Bus & Coach Options:
- Take Translink NI Goldline to Derry/Londonderry
→ Book here - From Derry, hop on a bus or taxi to Buncrana (25–30 minutes)

- Bus Éireann Route 51 → Galway → Letterkenny (buseireann)
- Or rent a car and enjoy the scenic drive north!

- No direct public transport. Arrange a private transfer or taxi (we can help).
